3 month milestones

We are alive and surviving (see all the pictures for proof)! Hallelujah! I just read my previous post, and it feels like ages ago. Its nuts how much of a difference one month makes. I seriously cannot believe I have a 3 month old. She's getting so big and already has such a personality. I am back at work full time now. That in itself was very tough. It's a hard adjustment spending every day with baby then going into the office everyday and talking numbers. Lily is going to daycare on the airforce base Mon-Thurs and Austin stays at home with her on Fridays. She has already gotten sick and passed it along to me. We were both sick for about 2 weeks! yuck! Everyone keeps telling me that its only going to get worse, so i am super excited about that. please sense the sarcasm. Its mainly a juggling act at our household.

We have had many milestones which I will highlight in Lily's letter below, but here are some pictures of the exciting happenings in the Langthorn household.

We are now in the crib people. Big accomplishment!
We are working on sitting up. She loves to chew on the teething ring. She can pretty much hold it on her own!

Dear Lily bug (by the way- I have no idea why we call her Lily bug, or where it came from. I just started right after she was born and it has stuck like glue) You are a 3 month old angel. You weigh - wait for it- 14.6 pounds and are 25 inches tall. Yes you will be taller than your mother by the 3rd grade. I apologize in advance about the tall jokes and crazy stares you will get when you are older, but I promise one day everyone else will catch up with you. You have found your hands, and love to chew on them. You grab anything that you can get your hands on, including Momma's hair. You still love bath time, and you still smile and laugh in your sleep. Those are two traits that I hope stick around for a while. You have also started talking more! It's not recognizable words, but mostly its "OWWWS" and "BOOOOAAASSS" not really "coo"ing. You are wearing 3-6 month clothing, and oh are you so stylish. We love playing dress up in the morning :). Actually, I love it and you just tolerate it to amuse me. We are wearing a size 2 diaper. You have also started sleeping in your crib! yay! We are at the end of week 1 and so far so good. You like to spread out. Arms up and legs apart, like a real lady. You don't seem to mind the crib at all. Your head is still LARGE. Its really heavy, but for the most part you do a good job holding it up. I am pretty sure you about to start teething, and you really like the cold jellies to chew on. You have also had a particular interest in the television as of lately. Therefore, Mom and Dad can't watch their grown up shows without feeling guilty. I am pretty sure you can't comprehend what is happening but its the subject of the matter. You are such a Daddy's girl. Not only do you smile at the sound of his voice, but you love when he plays with you. You laugh and smile and it melts my heart. We love you more than you could imagine. It's a few weeks late, but happy 3 months!
